For five years, I worked at Real Weddings magazine, a local BC wedding publication. For three of those years, I held the position of Managing Editor. In this capacity, I set the themes and content for each bi-annual issue, as well as handled the creative budget and schedule, managed our editorial team and contributing creatives, and represented the magazine at Vancouver and industry events. I wrote unique digital content for realweddings.ca, specifically for the Editor's Blog, and reported on industry events, local happenings and wedding trends. 

I also wrote, produced and/or styled several persistent features: City Seen, Let's Shop and News & Cues. My writing and editorial direction also appears as various articles, style features, and real wedding stories.

Real Weddings' sister publications, The Complete Wedding Directory, West Coast Bridal Guide, and Bridal Style, were also under my editing and writing purview.

Real Weddings is now owned by Canada Wide Media.
